Write Effective Web Content

Currently, Linda is teaching Write Effective Web Content, an online six-week long instructor led course.

Write Effective Web Content is offered across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Europe through the Community College Network. The course is also offered through public libraries that carry Gale Courses.

Linda’s Teaching Credentials

Linda convocated in June, 2007, from the University of Regina, with a MV/TEd (adult education) degree. Her thesis work was on the preferred communication modes of students in nonformal online education and training.

Her undergrad degree was also in Vocational/Technical Education with a technical major in serger sewing, a general major in English, and an Education focus as a teacher-librarian.

• 2006 – 2020 Adult and teen writing programs offered through the Saskatchewan Writer’s Guild and through a Northern Readings Program.
• 2003 – 2008 – Instructor for Professional Development Workshops for library staff through Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.
• 2002 – 2007 – Instructor for the Institute of Children’s Literature in the Writing for Children course, and the Book Writing Course.
• 2000-2002 – Powered, Inc. online instructor for Writing for Children and Taking Your Small Business Online
• 1999-2002 – Web site design and content development presentations given across Canada.
• 1985-2002 – Serger Sewing Consultant. Developed/wrote/taught half a dozen different sewing programs.
